We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate After Hours Hospice Registered Nurse. In this essential role, you will help us continue delivering exceptional care outside of regular business hours, offering peace of mind and skilled support when it matters most.
Schedule: 5:00 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Territory: Oakland & Wayne Counties

- Assess physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of hospice patients and families
- Communicate key health updates to clinical supervisors and physicians
- Support patients and caregivers in following care plans
- Educate facility staff on hospice philosophy and symptom management
- Provide emotional support and perform bereavement assessments at time of death
- Ensure alignment with Elara Caring’s mission and leadership vision
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Certificate, Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's)
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical care setting
- Hospice or home health experience preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds as needed
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
